AMA Toronto honours mentorship excellence

Toronto, July 25, 2017 — The American Marketing Association’s Toronto chapter (AMA Toronto) is pleased to announce this year’s Mentorship Winners from the AMA Toronto Mentor Exchange program.

Two exceptional marketers were honoured at a reception celebrating the 2016/17 Mentor Exchange Graduation held last night.  Liz Aviado, Director of Sales at AOL Canada, was named Mentee of the Year and William Brown, President and CEO, FMAV, received the Mentor of the Year Award.

“The AMA Mentor Exchange advisory committee would like to congratulate the mentees and mentors for participating in this year's program,” says Craig Lund, Co-Chair of the AMA Mentor Exchange. “Each year the committee honours mentorship excellence and recognizes an outstanding mentee and mentor who exemplify the outstanding and rewarding experience our program can deliver.”

Program Advisory member David Pullara led the adjudication process for the awards based on qualitative survey responses received from mentors and mentees nominated.

The popular AMA Mentor Exchange, now in its eighth year, is taking applicants until July 28. 

Applicants must fit the criteria in order to be considered for a spot.  Full program details, application criteria, and a list of the 2017/18 mentor roster are available at
