Reza Alavie is an experienced entrepreneur who pioneered marketing small businesses in the GTA. He started his advertising agency with $2,500, attracted good clients, good colleagues, good partners and good investors. He grew the company and sold it.
Reza has helped many small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with their marketing including over 200 startups at ventureLAB.ca and its predecessor, Innovation Synergy Centre in Markham.
He has been interviewed by various media such as The Globe & Mail, Toronto Sun, National Post, Marketing magazine, Exchange magazine, Financial Post, City Pulse, CBC, CTV, CKFM, 640AM, SYSCO Today and toronto.com for his insights in successfully marketing small businesses.
Reza holds a B.A. (Liberal Arts), B.Ed. (Adult Education) and an M.B.A. (Entrepreneurship). He is working on his doctorate in Entrepreneurial Marketing. In addition to marketing SMEs, he is a Professor in the School of Marketing at Seneca College and loves it.
