Kim began her career in Toronto working with the Canadian Olympic Committee and International Licensing and Marketing. During that time, Kim set the foundation for the sponsorship structure and success of the Olympic movement in Canada.
After success at the COC, Kim chose to strike out on her own and started her own sports marketing agency – Mercury Marketing Inc. With premier clients and consistently increasing revenue, Kim sold her interest in Mercury Marketing to Octagon Worldwide, one of the largest sports marketing agencies in the world.
At Octagon Worldwide she took on the role of Managing Director of Canada before relocating to the UK to head up Octagon’s global Olympic portfolio. Here her international career took off. She was on the move again. This time to Los Angeles, California to lead Wasserman Media Group’s business expansion.
After two years, London called again, and Kim returned to the UK to work with Universal Studio’s ‘Fast and Furious Live Tour’, a billion-dollar movie franchise.
Her reputation and results meant it wasn’t long before she was once again headhunted, this time to IRONMAN, the worlds predominate ultra-distance Triathlon. Recruited as the first female Head of Europe’s Commercial division, Kim was responsible for sponsorship, licensing, media and digital programs.
In 2018 Kim returned home to Canada where she works with companies and individuals to share insights, ideas, and strategies via marketing and consulting.
