Since I was fairly young, friends and family have come to me for advice on a whole range of things. I guess they noticed my general curiosity and that I carried around way too many facts on a whole range of things.
This moved along successfully into my business life as I’ve been happy to offer counsel to clients, co-workers and more than a few people trying to advance their careers. So when I was asked if I’d like to be a mentor in the AMAToronto exchange program, the answer could only be yes.
Before going out on my own, I worked at agencies large and small and on some of the world’s biggest and best brands. My major agency experience was at Ogilvy, DDB and Grey. And my brand experience includes package goods, clothing, media brands and luxury cars. An interesting mix. I’ve helped launch brands, turn-around brands and saved more than a few rocky client relationships.
I’ve also been responsible for hiring and training some great people. And for years, I’ve been a coach helping young people succeed and advance in sports. I’ve always believed in helping out and hope to do more of the same here.
