Deborah is a senior leader known for engaging an executive team’s trust to manage and deliver high-performing results back to the organization, through her commitment to excellence in sales, marketing, education and non-for-profit programs.
After a 30-year career with IBM Corporation, most recently as a Global Marketing Programs Manager, – Deb joined the York University Schulich School of Business Executive Education Centre (SEEC) as a Senior Account Executive. SEEC provides talent management solutions and a full range of non-degree learning and organization development programs for business professionals at all levels. SEEC is a partner of AMA Toronto.
Deborah has been a member of the AMA Toronto Board since 2003. She was President of AMA Toronto 2005-2006 and has had the opportunity to be part of the leadership team responsible for growing the AMA Toronto organization for the past 14 years. Deb was part of the conception and sat on the inaugural advisory committees for both the Marketing Hall of Legends and the Mentor Exchange programs.
Deb's on-going commitment to career development and personal growth is evident through her passion for connecting, continual learning, documenting goals and striving to achieve through action.
As part of her passion to ‘always be giving’, Deborah is the Volunteer Champion and Fundraiser for the Practice-Base Research and Innovation Initiative at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Helping to build future healthcare leaders and scientists.
